Welcome to the City Library of Reutlingen

With nearly 300,000 items held in 11 locations, the City Library of Reutlingen offers a wide range of media: novels and non-fiction, books and media for children and young adults, films, TV series, music, audio books and recordings, language learning programs, sheet music, board games and console games, newspapers and magazines.

At our online "eLibrary" branch within the regional portal "eLending Neckar-Alb" you have access to our digital media, including eBooks and eAudio, music streaming, national and international news sources, and information databases and encyclopedias, such as BrockhausOnline or the Britannica Library.

At the main branch in Spendhausstraße, and in the library's branches in Betzingen, Rommelsbach, Sondelfingen and Orschel-Hagen, you can access our wireless network or use our public computers for internet access, office software, and printing. Children can use tablets uploaded with computer games. In the main library's young adult section teenagers can play multi-player games on game consoles. Individual carrels and small-group rooms are available for study purposes. In the music library visitors can play or practice on a digital piano.

Our wide-ranging program of events, which includes author readings, activities for children and teenagers, basic how-to sessions, and informational talks, are announced on our website at www.stadtbibliothek-reutlingen.de and in print in the bi-monthly fold-out brochure available at all branches. If you would like to receive the program directly, simply sign up for our newsletter on the website.

We are very pleased that you have decided to join us!
